Ultralight BFS Spool BF28

Ultralight BFS spool weighs 3.95g (4.65g with bearing), offering a 44% weight reduction compared to the stock 20 Alphas Air TW spool, and a 63% reduction compared to the stock Alphas SV TW 800&800s spool.

Designed for casting 1-10g lures. In our testing, we achieved casts as low as 0.6g to a fishable distance with the right gear. Great for trout and pan-fish as well as ultralight salt water application like Ajing.

Uni-body design (shaft machined with the spool body) with no porting on either the spool or its support for optimal structural integrity.

Compatible with all types of fishing line*1 (fluorocarbon, monofilament, and braided line)

Each equipped with 1 hybrid SIC micro bearing for optimal casting performance. *2

Comes with an aluminum protective canister.

*1 Spooling monofilament or fluorocarbon over 10lb, or over 50yds are not recommended due to the high tension of the line may damage the spool.

*2 It is recommended to use bearings of equal performance on the side cover to ensure they do not adversely affect the spool's performance.

Please note:

Bearings are shipped lubricated with ultra thin bearing oil therefore it may not spin as freely as dry bearings. Please only add thin bearing oil and do not use grease in spool bearings.
